Pull the front grille off the indoor unit. Filter looks grey/black? Vacuum or wash it. A choked filter cuts airflow + cooling capacity by 30%+.
Check the outdoor compressor unit. Leaves, dirt, or anything within 30cm of the coil blocks heat exchange. Clean it out + give 1m clearance.
Confirm you are on COOL (snowflake icon), not FAN or DRY. Temperature set below current room temp. Some units default to AUTO which is unreliable.
If indoor unit runs but no cold air, the outdoor compressor breaker may have tripped. Check your switchboard for a tripped breaker labelled for the AC.
Some ducted + cassette units have a drain pump that fails. When the drain pan fills, the unit shuts down to prevent overflow. ARC tech callout needed.
